Science on the Great Lakes
The Great Lakes Science Center is the destination for learning the Great Lakes ecosystem.
The Great Lakes Science Center opened on Cleveland's waterfront in 1996 and has since become a destination for learning about the Great Lakes ecosystem. The museum offers a variety exhibits and daily scientific demonstrations. Included in the Science Center is the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, which houses special artifacts and exhibits dedicated to NASA's history of space exploration. The museum also features an Imax Theater and is partially powered by a wind turbine which is visible from the outside of the museum.
