The East Liverpool Museum of Ceramics offers a one-of-a-kind collection of ceramic wares for public viewing. East Liverpool was considered the center of American crockery production, and the museum showcases ceramic history and artifacts like none other. Examples of its exceptional collection Lotus Ware by local manufacturer Taylor & Knowles. Additional exhibits on East Liverpool history are on display alongside the ceramic collection. Located in a 1909 US Post Office, the Beaux Arts style building contains many interesting architectural features of its own, including ornately decorated domed ceilings, solid oak trim and a beautiful marble and terrazzo floor.
