Dry Capital of the World

From the austerity of the Anti-Saloon League to the exuberance of its parks, Westerville offers insight and inspiration around every corner. Here you can find national history locally made with exciting stories and twists of fate that make Ohio a unique destination. This Westerville tour was made possible by the Ohio Arts Council.

A thriving town proved to be enticing to saloon keepers and the Anti-Saloon League. Visit sites that played a role in establishing the 18th Amendment and sample how the community has changed from being the Dry Capital of the World to a place where boutique brews are all the rage.
